Job Summary
The General Manager is responsible for the overall performance of the studio, including membership growth, sales execution, team leadership, and operational excellence. The role ensures a consistent and high quality member experience while driving revenue and maintaining strong operational standards across the studio.
This is a full time position. The studio operates seven days a week and the GM is on call. Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and community events is required.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Drive membership sales and support overall studio revenue performance
- Lead the studio sales process including lead management, intro class conversion, and member retention
- Oversee day-to-day studio operations and staff management
- Support lead generation through community outreach, partnerships, networking, and local events
- Lead and supervise Sales Associates, supporting performance and accountability
- Manage Sales Associate scheduling and ensure appropriate front desk coverage
- Oversee the member experience and resolve customer service issues using sound judgment
- Maintain proficiency in ClubReady and review studio performance reports
- Maintain studio presentation and operational standards
- Ensure compliance with Club Pilates policies and procedures
Qualifications and Skills
- 2 or more years of sales leadership experience in retail, service, or fitness with a proven track record of personally generating sales and coaching a team to do the same
- Comfortable owning a revenue number and being held accountable to monthly membership goals
- Strong communication skills in English
- Highly organized, reliable, and able to manage multiple priorities with a high level of ownership
- Ability to read studio performance data and use it to make smart decisions
- Proficiency with computers and studio software. ClubReady experience is a plus.
